I am currently 38 weeks along at 46

I have been married to my wonderful husband Spryro for 3 years. We are both Greek descendants. I have a 20 year old daughter Alexandria from a previous marriage.

I am currently 38 weeks along & this is truly a miracle. I have severe endometriosis and hypothyroidism. The likelihood of conception was less than 1%.

In October 2002 I stopped taking the pill, because it was making me so sick. In July of 2003 I went in for my annual mammogram and, to my surprise, they wouldn't do it because I hadn't had a period in 6 weeks.

The next morning I don't know who fainted first, my husband or myself [when we got the positive test result].

Update: Angela gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Micheal on 24 February 2004 weighing 6 lbs 15 oz.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
