First pregnancy at 46! - I don't know how far along I am, since I stopped paying attention to my cycle many months ago. All that work 3 years ago with fertility testing, taking temp every morning, charting hormone levels just got to be too much with no result!
I finally bought a pregnancy test on Dec 21, and it took less than the time recommended to show a positive result! I didn't believe it, went the next day and bought 2 more tests. One was the kind that reads either “pregnant” or “not pregnant“. That is the one I showed my husband. I knew he would not believe me otherwise!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
