I met a bright, beautiful girl the other day. She was 23 years old, and working on her MBA [Master of Business Administration degree]. She was the 16th child of 16 children! Same mother and father!

Her dad was 72 years old when she was born, and her mom was 56 years old! Everyone told her mom she should abort that baby. Her mom felt if God wanted her to have it, then she would. She was blessed with a beautiful, intelligent, wonderful daughter!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
