This was her 1st at 45

While ago I posted about my husband's friend, he's 50, his wife is 45. After years of trying with no luck, she got pregnant, and then had a miscarriage. They were devastated. But then she got pregnant again with no assistance.

Well..... sometime between late Monday night and Tuesday morning she delivered a healthy baby girl.

This was her first, she had no help, even after the miscarriage. She probably wouldn't even know what FSH [follicle stimulating hormone] is. Ahhhh..... the sweet innocence of not hearing that sentence thrown at you.

It will happen, for all of us. Dream like a little child, and live those dreams like they are real. However it eventually happens, I figure if you take your mind there, your body will eventually follow. Here's to keeping the dream alive.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
