About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

I am also 43 and pregnant. I am 29 weeks and I will be 44 when she is born. I have a daughter that was born in 1984 and she was my only child until now. I lost a baby at 18 1/2 weeks in 1986 and have never been able to get pregnant since. I went through a lot of test and even took fertility drugs but could never get pregnant. I was told that I would never have children so when I found out that I was pregnant it was a huge shock. But a blessing. I am thanking God everyday for giving me another child. Congrats on yours and good look.
