In my journey so far - having lost 4 pregnancies, I have met a few heroic couples who persisted.
One couple in particular - their story is incredible, she lost count of how many miscarriages she had, she started IVF at 37, had one child at 43 & another at 45.
She spent over $300,000 & did over 27 cycles & they got there & the main lesson or message I have gleaned from these heroic women is tenacity & perseverance.
She has told me 'whenever I feel the need to give up, I have to try one more time' - I do believe if you persevere -you do get there.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
