I personally know of at least 3 people who have gotten pregnant in their mid to late 40's. My husband has a friend whose wife is now expecting her first baby in September. After one miscarriage she got pregnant again for the 2nd time in decades and she's your age (44 years old), her husband is 50.
I've heard many other stories that prove that you're as pregnant as you believe you will be. As long as you believe it will happen for you, consider it done. It's only a matter of time.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
