Biggest surprise of her life at 51

When the symptoms first hit Morgan Zantua more than a year ago, she assumed they signaled menopause. Or just plain exhaustion.

At 51, she was busy carving out a new career, trying to finish graduate school and juggling several part-time jobs.

When she and her husband George, then 57, had time to catch their breath, they sometimes allowed themselves to dream of selling their remodeled Fern Hill home and traveling around the world.

Instead of the expected transition into the end of her reproductive years, Zantua was headed for the biggest surprise of her life. Medical tests confirmed she was pregnant.

TODAY'S BOOK SUGGESTION:

by Whitney Cornelison
-- The road of infertility is one of pain, struggle, and loneliness. It's not a topic that couples bring up in conversation. It's a journey that will either bring couples together and closer to God, or one that will slowly divide couples as they distance themselves from each other, their friends, and God.

It is time to break the silence. I want you to know that you are not alone. This may not be the path that you would have chosen for your own life. I know I would not have written infertility into my story. But we don't write our stories, God does. He writes the story of our lives in a way that is beautiful and brings Him the most glory. It's not always perfect, but it's good. It's never easy, but the reward is greater than we could ever imagine.

Whether you are struggling with infertility, or you know someone who is, this book was written for you. Never in a million years would I have thought I would write an eBook telling you our story, but I did. I pray that this eBook will encourage your heart, give you insight into the reality of infertility, and above all, glorify God.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
