I am 44 & pregnant with my 2nd

I am 44 and have an 18 & 17 year old from a previous marriage, and a 16 month old with my new hubby (who is 15 yrs younger).

I thought this would never happen for me, and here I am, pregnant with my second (with hubby #2). I do plan on having my tubes tied after this one, only because I think 4 is enough, and I seem to be very fertile in my advancing age.

... either that or it has something to do with having a much younger husband, I don't really know.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
