My mom is now 52 and my youngest sibling is 3! I am #2 of 7 from my mom. We are 30, 27, 25, 13, 10, 7, and 3. My mom had healthy pregnancies, even with the last 4. She got a lot of weird looks the past few pregnancies.
I remember when I was with her when my 13 year old brother was a baby (I was 13 at the time), some people made snotty comments about "teenagers having babies". They never even thought that MAYBE he was my brother and not mine.
Anyway, my point is that you can be happy and healthy and have babies, even in your 40's.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
