I was so depressed about TTC [trying to conceive] that I changed my screen name from "wishmeluck" to "wishUluck", because after 2 years of TTC, and because of the fact that I will turn 46 in May, I had given up any hope of becoming pregnant ...

I was very interested in adoption, but was also bummed about the fact that my husband didn't want to. Guess what happened? I got a positive pregnancy test this week! It's quite a miracle, and I hope this little one stays with me until the due date in October. - Deb

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
