I'll be 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow at 44y old

Julinda [44] - I'll be 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and so far everything has been just great. The doctors have settled down a bit, although they're still treating me like I am bound to have some kind of problem!

I had my first at 37 so was no spring chicken even then, but this time I have spent time thinking, "I'll be 62 when this baby graduates from high school." Well, hopefully he and my other son will be good students, and get lots of scholarships so I can retire at a reasonable age!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
