I'm 44 yrs old & 30 weeks pregnant

I'm 44 years old and 30 weeks pregnant. I was pregnant last year for the first time on our honeymoon. I was amazed at being pregnant just two months without birth control. Unfortunately I lost the baby at 15 weeks.

This affected me greatly, and then I was on a mission to get pregnant again. Since this is our first baby, a part of me would like to have another and so I supposed, if all goes well, I'd be around 45-46 yrs old - Nina

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
