She had a healthy happy baby at 54

I went to visit a neighbour of mine yesterday who had just gotten out of the hospital, we attend the same church. We were discussing about me still having children, she told me of this lady that works with her, apparently the women and her husband went on a cruise and when she got back she wasn't feeling well.

She was having hot flashes etc, so she went to the doctor to see about getting something for the big M. She got a surprise instead, at the age of 53 and some few months she was pregnant all natural, had a healthy happy baby at 54.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
