I am 43 years old, and 8 months pregnant with my 4th boy. I can't tell you how special each one of them is! I had one at 30 years old (he's 13 now) one at 32 (almost 11), and one at 41 (terrible two's).

I'll be three months shy of 44 when this one is born. I can't imagine my life without each and every one of them. The hardest part of being pregnant is filtering out the negative stuff. We all get it, but we don't have to let it affect us.

I ask these type of people, "So what do you think I should do about it now?"

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
