Discovered she was 5 mths pregnant at 47

There was an article in one of the cheapo women's magazines about 2-3 months ago about a British woman who discovered she was 5 months pregnant at 47 -- 12 months after her last period! (i.e. she must have got pregnant 7 months after last period -- stray egg, apparently).

She was so certain she was menopausal, she never gave pregnancy a thought, and only happened to go to her doctor because she thought a cyst was recurring. She gave birth to a healthy daughter at 48.

Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
