My husband's mom was 45 when he was born

Don't you love the attitude's that people can get about a middle aged pregnant woman, when it has nothing to do with them? LOL!! I think that medicine makes us worry so much.

My mom was 40 when she had me, and I am just fine. My husband's mother was 45, and father was 47 when he was born. He is a physician, and very bright.

We were both very healthy, and lucky to have parents that were mature enough to appreciate being parents. Best of luck to everyone!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
