She just had a baby at 46

So my husband and I and our kids (3, 14, 22) are in a restaurant on Sunday. The waitress comes up and looks at the 3 year old, looks at us and says, "Yours?" (wondering if it was maybe a grandson)

We say yes, and she says she just had a healthy baby boy 10 weeks ago, and she's 46!!!! She thought she was in menopause as she hadn't had a period in well over a year.

Then one day she was sitting on the couch watching TV and her stomach MOVED!!! She was 5 months pregnant!!!!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
