A dear friend of mine, Mary, had her first child five months ago, and she's 47.
She spent a lot of money on fertility doctors and they told her she couldn't conceive. Well, one day Mary wasn't feeling well, went to the doctor and they gave her the surprising news that a baby was coming!
Her health is not the best. She's had cancer and other health problems. Mary’s baby, David, Jr. is healthy, happy and very spoiled.
Mary and her husband are thrilled and feel blessed – along with being very tired. Good luck to you with this decision.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
