My Mom said that when she was a kid in England women were always having children up to 50! It just happened and they called them change of life babies! My Mom is 81 now.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

To be mother or to be father of a new born baby, it is not caused of shame.
This is nature of human beings that they want to more wealth, more age, easier life and also more children with good health
In this modern world it is not difficult for a aged woman to born a child in age 47 to 50. Today medical science is advanced and help the person to care himself and educate how to care your baby in old age.
So i think that if a man or woman try to be father or mother of a baby in old age it is their right i they should do so
In view of religious point they can do so. Islam allow the person to have four wives at a time
In my own family also their is one example, My father'S last son(My brother) is elder than my nephew. Mean my older brother's daughter is older than my younger brother (Muhammad Hanif Baloch Karachi Pakistan)
