Surprise, thought I was done with diapers...

Photo credit: SladjaI don’t like stats because my brother-in-law (a retired OB Gyn) says they're only counting the women who are trying to get pregnant at 44...

Thus having a hard time already...

Not the 44 who get pregnant and at his practice, 99% of them were not happy about being pregnant at 44.... You know the surprise, thought I was done with diapers type....

Those who turn up pregnant at 44 are not counted into the stats of 44 year old pregnancies... am I making sense?

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
