Another due March at 44

Catherine McDiarmid-Watt | Friday, April 27, 2012 | 0 comments

Photo credit: asifthebesI am 44 and have a 19 year old, 18 year old, 2 year old and another due March 2007 - and I know I am a better mom now than I was in my 20's,because I am a better woman and have a better life than I did in my 20's.

My 2nd marriage is more stable, but my hubby is 56, and our 2 year old was his first, and boy howdy, was he scared.

He has taken to fatherhood like a duck to water though.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
