Never once did I suspect I was expecting at 48
My age now is 48 and my husband 54. We have 5 children, ages: one daughter 30 years old and another 10 months, three sons 28, 21, 20. As you can see, our little one was quite a surprise! After the initial shock, she was much anticipated.
In Jan of '03, we had went on the Atkins diet, lost 55 lbs, and I just quit losing, tore the cartilage behind my knee cap, was in a brace for 6 weeks, then got the influenza, just didn't feel myself, tired.
Never once did I, or anyone, suspect I was expecting (had started menopause also), 5-5 I went into the doctor expecting to hear bad news, only to the hear you have EDD [estimated date of delivery] of 7-10. Yes, you heard that right!
