She re-married & had a baby at 44

Just as some inspiration. I was talking to my 39 year old brother yesterday, and he informed me that a mutual friend of ours ( my age 43 or 44) is 4 months pregnant.

This friend of mine use to like my brother many years ago, however he was seeing someone with the same first name also 5 years older than him. He ended up marrying her, however it only lasted 5 years.

She re-married and had a baby at 44. Now what are the odds that the 2 woman my brother could have ended up with in life, get pregnant and have babies at 44ish?

Also, currently my best friend from High School is pregnant with her 2nd child. She will be 43 in December. She is the only one of my friends that actually wanted to be pregnant in her 40's , so it makes me wonder how many more pregnant friends I would have, if they actually were trying.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
