Wow, it happened, I will be 46 next month

I did it!!! I was on a rest cycle because I had a cyst. Did not even think about getting pregnant this month, really did not try, only had BMS (baby making sex) 1 time. (cycle day 18)

I had so much other stuff going on, planning a big party, starting a new job. And WOW, it happened. Beta 12,621. I thought I was late because of the cyst. I am so excited. Sending STICKY BABY DUST TO YOU ALL...

See us older women can still do it, I will be 46 next month. I really think the key is to relax, it was the first time in 18 months that I was not thinking about getting pregnant. After all the poking and prodding and injections over the last 5 months, it happened all natural. I go for an ultrasound tomorrow.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
