I'll be 44 & 33w pregnant tomorrow

I thought at first I wasn't old enough to reply - but I'll be 44 next Friday, so who am I kidding? I'm old enough! I'll be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow. The first half of the pregnancy, I was really worried about complications and problems.

Didn't really even let myself think too much about actually having the baby etc. I blame the doctors partly for this as they acted like I was in a dire situation!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
