I just turned 45 & I'm expecting

My name is Mary Ann, and I just turned 45 and am expecting 9/29. It was a shock at first, but I'm very excited about this new addition.

I have 4 children, 3 daughters, 20, 18, 16 and a son, 13. I had my 1st ultrasound on 2/9 and saw the heart beating.

I go back on March 23 to get the results of my blood tests and hopefully, be able to hear the heartbeat by then.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
