I was so glad to find this site, I am so sick of hearing (what are you thinking?) and (have you lost your mind?) by people, thinking I am too old to be having a baby.

My name is Bobbi. I am 44 from Elkhart, Indiana, I have been married for 24 1/2 years, and I have 6 kids. Jason 28, Heather 23, Timothy 21, Bryson 12, William 10, Gunnar 8, and I am now 8 weeks pregnant due November 18th, 2006.

My husband and I are so excited about this baby, and all we get from our (so called) friends and co-workers is how crazy we are. Thank you so much for this site, it has made me feel better like I'm not a freak, or something.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
