My mom had me when she was 40 (her 5th) and said I was the easiest pregnancy and birth.

She didn't think twice about her age.

Maybe that's because her mom (my grandma) had her third (my aunt) when she was 45.

Also my aunt had 3 kids after 40. No problems at all.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
