All the children are excited!

I found out I was expecting the week before my 45th birthday...so I will be 45 years 8months old when this baby is due.

My midwife says all looks good so we're hoping for another homebirth. This is our 11th child.

Our #10 was born when I was 42 years old.

All of our other children are about two years apart, so we thought we must be done.

All the children are excited... five boys and five girls ages 23 to 2 years 7months old.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
