She went on to have 2 more babies, at 46 &47

Another one I always remember was a lady on a TV programme about whether it was morally OK to have a baby when you are older. Of course I was glued to the screen.

She said that although she had children from a previous relationship when she met her current partner he had none. She went on to have two more babies, one at 46 and one at 47. Without any trouble at all, conceiving, carrying or delivering. I know this is unusual, but it can be done!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
