She is 44, on the pill & 4m pregnant

I am not making this up, because I had dinner with this friend in person last Saturday night.

She is 44, was on the pill... and is 4 months pregnant with a boy.

Let's remember that fertility finds it's ways sometimes. I was stoked to hear her story, because you JUST NEVER KNOW when it might happen to you.

Her doctor told her the odds against what happened to her are astronomical -- but it still happened. It's comforting to me, and I hope to someone else out there who's losing hope.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
