I flew with a friend of mine from work who was married this year. She is 42 and they conceived on their first month of trying and they only DID it once that month, just after her period LOL!!!!!!

I told her she MUST be having a girl, and she's just found out that she is!!! Then she says... oh I've got another friend who just got pregnant first try and she is 45!!! So there you are girls.....gotta love those positive stories!!! There is hope for all of us.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

Hi, I believe all things are possible,....

The story of the 42 year old woman had me touchec until I read she conceived right after she finished her menses..

I'm sorry, but while anything is possible the probability of that is not.

I wonder when did she ovulate?..her husband must have had like superman sperm

It does happen. At 22 I became pregnant by having sex only once that month a day or two after my period. And we conceived a beautiful boy. I have a normal 28 day cycle.. I guess I just ovulate early or husband has miraculous sperm.
