I do know quite a few women who've conceived and successfully carried to term over 45, so keep up the spirit. Baby dust!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

I also know women who have successfully carried to term over the age of 45. It is possible! Just take care of your health in a commonsense fashion, i.e., eat healthy, live right, do a bit of exercise, and you can healthily carry to term over the age of 45.

I love this blog. I just discovered it today and it's great. Beautiful idea. Really, a beautiful idea. Kudos.
