She had a child at 41, another at 44 and twins at 50, all with her own eggs.
I know she didn't do IVF [in vitro fertilization] or IUI [intra-uterine insemination] ...it was said that she'd call her husband and have him come home for lunch when she was ovulating.
They were a very wealthy couple... live in Georgetown, DC. She delivered the twins at Columbia Hospital for Women... it was big news (1994).
She was very healthy and very thin... and had more energy than the Energizer Bunny! I don't know any of the logistics (clinic)... but thinking of her always inspired me too.
