When I go to the acupuncturist, I talk to her about different things, and I ask her a lot of questions (including her other patients).

She tells me about different patients.

Today she told me about a 45 year old woman who now is about 8 months pregnant - and she got pregnant on her own.

She had gone to this acupuncturist for only two months after trying on her own, and I think she had also gone for 2 IVF [in vitro fertilization], but nothing happened.

She was supposed to go for another IVF, and found out she was pregnant. How about that?

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
